What are Raised Access Panels?

A raised access floor, often referred to as a raised access panels, access floor, or just a raised floor, is a floor created above a solid floor slab, leaving an open void between the two, typically for cables, wiring and other electrical components.

The core component of raised access panels is the pedestal, which provides an adjustable vertical support structure for the raised floor. The panels then provide easy access to the floor voids below easy maintenance and reconfiguration, without a massive disruption to the working environment.
