What is Laminate Flooring?

Laminate Flooring is a multi-layer synthetic flooring, made of high-density fiberboard topped by one or more layers of decorative paper and a transparent protective coating, typically with a melamine resin or fibrewood core with a plastic laminate top layer.

Laminate comes in many patterns and styles, including those that mimic other materials, such as hardwood, stone or even ceramic tiles.
